Data Deletion Request

You can request deletion of the data Nerugaa holds about you, including any data obtained through Instagram and the Meta platforms. We offer two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself
- Sign in to your Nerugaa account and go to IG Accounts.
- Disconnect the Instagram account you no longer want connected. This immediately removes its stored access token and associated Instagram-derived data from Nerugaa.
- To remove everything, delete your Nerugaa account from account settings. This removes your profile, configurations, and associated Instagram data.
Disconnecting from Nerugaa does not change Instagram’s own app authorization record. You can revoke that authorization from within Instagram under Settings → Apps and websites.
Option 2 — Email us
Send a deletion request to support@nerugaa.com from the email associated with your account, or include the Instagram username you want removed. Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
What we delete and when
Upon a verified request, we delete or de-identify your personal information and Instagram-derived data (including stored conversation history and encrypted access tokens) within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
